Avalon, San Clemente CA, Kid Photography

Stop two on my Southern California trip was at my cousin’s house in the cute beach town of San Clemente. I had so much fun visiting and seeing her two kids again!!! Avalon is about to turn two years old and my cousin really wanted some professional photos at this stage of her life. We started off the morning in Dana Point Harbor to visit Santa Claus on his fishing boat. After that we had a fun time playing around at a local playground and ended the day down at the beach in Dana Point.

Alia, Kid Photography, Upland CA

This past week I went down to Southern California to visit my family and photograph some of my cousin’s kids. Stop one was in Upland, CA at my aunt and uncle’s house to photograph my cousin’s beautiful daughter Alia. Alia turned two years old at the beginning of November, so it was perfect timing to take these photos of her. I pretty much ran around the whole hour taking photos of Alia. I was either chasing her or she was chasing me :-) Kid photography is a great workout!!

Empire Mine Photos, Grass Valley CA

On Veterans Day Christine and I took a day trip up to Grass Valley and Nevada City. We had a fun time looking around at all the little shops and had a great lunch in Grass Valley. Last year around the same time we went to Empire Mine to take some photos of the fall colors. This time the fall colors were dying off and it was a cloudy day. But we still had a fun time walking around taking photos.

Lake Tahoe Family Photographer, Tipton Family Portrait

In early November Christine and I went up to Lake Tahoe to photograph the Tipton’s family portrait. I’ve known Luke since I was a little kid and two summers ago I photographed his wedding at Edgewood. Now I’m photographing his family portrait!! We went to beautiful Sand Harbor in North Lake Tahoe to photograph their family portrait. I also took some photos of their new son, who has grown leaps and bounds since the last time I saw him.
