In July Christine, Luke, my mom and I vacationed up in Tahoe for a week and half. When I wasn’t shooting weddings we had fun playing around Tahoe. Here are some photos of the trip and this was Luke’s first trip to Tahoe.

I met up with the Baadsgaard family early in the morning at the Burnt Cedar Beach Club in Incline Village to take their portraits. They were in town for a wedding that I was photographing in the coming days, so it was nice to be able to take some photos of them. By showing up early in the morning we had the whole beach to our selves before the summer crowds showed up.

Denise and Francis were married at St Theresa Catholic Church in South Lake Tahoe. It was a really pleasure to watch their ceremony and see the love that they have for each other. After that they finished off the day with their reception at Zephyr Cove Resort, which is always a fun time!!

I can’t believe that summer is almost over!! How did it go by that quick? I’ve been super busy with weddings this summer and haven’t able to blog that much. Right now I’m about a month and a half behind on blogging, so I thought I would start it off with a Luke post. Well way back in June when it was super hot Luke got his first pool!! He loves his pool,but only if the water is warm. If not he’s screaming bloody murder. He could just sit in it for hours looking at the water, while splashing away if we actually let him. Also he loves to wear his glasses/goggles, which is pretty crazy for a kid his age. He’s actually pretty bummed when we go to take them off. Hopefully I’ll be able to blog more frequently from now on.
