Luke turned 8 months old yesterday!! About 4 or 5 days ago he learned how to crawl and yesterday he really got the hang of it, so now he’s really getting around. He’s also pulling him self up a ton and loves to stand. Now it’s just a matter of time before he’s walking. So to celebrate Luke turning 8 months yesterday, I took him to the park to play on the swings. I have a feeling I’ll be spending lots of time there in the near future;-)

As my wedding season is finally slowing down I’ll be able to start blogging more and catching back up to current times. So way back at the start of August Christine, Luke and I took a quick trip to Yosemite. It was a whorl wind of trip seeing as much as we could in two days and driving a ton. We stand at my aunt’s condo in Mammoth, since everything was booked up in Yosemite. Thanks for letting us stay the night!! It was pretty crazy and hot to go in the middle of the summer with all the tourist, but still well worth it to see the beauty that is Yosemite. With the great winter we had all the waterfalls were still pumping out tons of water.

At the end of July Christine, Luke, Christine’s parents and I went to Santa Cruz for a couple of days for a quick vacation. It was a nice break from the busy wedding season and also I had never been to Santa Cruz before. It was typical summer beach weather, overcast in the morning then some sun and then the fog rolling back in around dinner time. Luke had fun playing in the sand, going to the board walk and not so much fun going into the cold ocean water. Hopefully we can make it back next summer!!

Wow!! Time sure really files by. Today Luke turned 7 months old, which is just so crazy to me. It seems just like yesterday Christine and I were driving him home from the hospital for the first time. Now he’s eating real food, rolling over, sitting up and almost about to crawl any day now!! Here’s some photos that I took today of Luke. He’s becoming such a big boy now.
