Back in early October I photographed the Polvi Family at their home in Roseville. We had a fun Saturday afternoon playing around their house and at the park right near their house. Their baby girl loved playing with their dog so much!!

I met up with the Baadsgaard family early in the morning at the Burnt Cedar Beach Club in Incline Village to take their portraits. They were in town for a wedding that I was photographing in the coming days, so it was nice to be able to take some photos of them. By showing up early in the morning we had the whole beach to our selves before the summer crowds showed up.

Erica is a close friend of Christine’s and they have know each other since they were little girls. I photographed her wedding almost two years ago and recently she asked me to take some maternity photos of her and her family. Back in early June we went up to Garcia Bend on the Sacramento River for the session. The light was just amazing and they hammed it up in front of the camera for some pretty cool shots. Since then Erica gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Paige.

During the first weekend of February I had the honor of photographing Nudrat and her husband Jason. I first met Nudrat almost 3 years ago when she was second shooting for me up in Tahoe at a wedding. After that one wedding we’ve stayed in touch and she’s helped me out with a couple more weddings over the years. In January Nudrat got in touch with and wanted me to take some photos of her and her husband for her new wedding blogsite that’s launching soon. We ended up going to UC Davis for the photo session, which is always a favorite of mine!! Jason and Nudrat are naturals in front of the camera know matter what Nudrat tells you, which made my job seem easy that afternoon. It was such a great time walking around UC Davis with Jason and Nudrat getting amazing photos for her new site. To see some of Nudrat’s fabulous wedding photos you should check out her website.
