UC Davis Engagement Pictures – Chana & TJ

Chana and TJ were back in Sacramento for a couple of days from the East Coast. On one of those mornings they had some free time from me to take their engagement pictures at UC Davis. Chana use to go to UC Davis, so it seemed like a great place to take their engagement photos at. Plus it was the start of spring and some of the plants were in bloom at the arboretum. We had a great time walking around campus and since it was a weekday morning we had to contend with the hoards of students walking around campus too. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding this June here in Sacramento!

Sacramento Engagement Photography – Theresa & Jima

A couple of weekends ago I photographed Theresa and Jima’s engagement photos here in Sacramento at the state capital and Old Town. They decided to bring their pugs along for some cute photos during the engagement session. They are both big San Francisco 49er fans and had to have some photos taken in their jersey’s. Hopefully the 49ers know win the Super Bowl!!

Krysten & Michael’s Vacaville Engagement Photography

I met up with Krysten and Michael back in early fall to photograph their engagement photos. We were lucky enough to have access to one of Krysten’s friends parent’s ranch in Vacaville Ca. Earlier in the day is was super cloudy, so it was nice to see the sun break out about an hour before the engagement session for some nice afternoon light. We had a good time walking around in the golden light among the beautiful trees and tall dry grass.

Suzanne & Robert’s High Hand Nursery Engagement

Suzanne and Robert had their first date at High Hand Nursery’s restaurant on 10/10/10 and then on 11/11/11 Robert proposed to Suzanne at High Hand Nursery. So it was fitting that they had their engagement photos taken at High Hand. We had a good time wondering around the huge grounds of the nursery taking photos in the afternoon light. If you’ve never been to High Hand I would say it’s worth the trip to check it out. It’s the most beautiful nursery I’ve ever visited and plus they have a really great restaurant there to eat at for when you get tried of looking at all the beautiful plants to buy.
