Holga Photos

by Doug Miranda on August 9, 2009

So after about a year and a half of shooting my Holga camera I finally got around to processing the 20 something rolls of film I shot. For those of you who don’t know or have even heard of a Holga camera, it’s a super cool placsitc / toy camera that shoots medium format film. You can shoot a 6×4.5 format with it or a square 6×6 format. I personally love the square 6×6 format that comes out of the camera!!!! I always take my Holga with me on trips and I use to always have one loaded with film in my car just in case there was something cool to photograph. Here are some random photos that caught my eye after looking through the scans. It was fun to look at the photos because I shot some of them so long ago that I forgot I even took the picture :-) Also these photos are straight out of the camera with no Photoshop work done to them.

Awesome images Doug – I love your Holga collage! There are so many fun ones in here but I especially love the 8th image (rocks and water at Tahoe).

Can’t wait to see more of your film images!

Take care,
Michael

Thanks Michael!!! I guess when you have a cheap plastic camera you can swim around with and not worry about it getting wet ;-)
