Donner Pass wedding photographer took this photo of a groom dipping and kissing his bride atop the summit with the Donner Summit Bridge in the background. This couples wedding took place in the summer, while the summer thundershower season was taking place. In snapped some photos of them with the lake in the background, but then decided to move around to capture these forming thunderhead clouds in the distance. The other bonus to this picture was having the iconic Donner Summit Bridge in the background too. This couple hosted their wedding festivities at Sugar Bowl Resort, which is a super short drive to the top of the summit. They opted to have their photos taken here while their guest enjoyed cocktail hour.
