Who wouldn't want the chance to have their first dance out in the middle of Tahoe with all of the lovely surrounding views. This is truly a unique way to have your wedding day.
The Tahoe Paradise boat is one of the very few yachts on the lake that allow wedding ceremonies and receptions to take place on it’s planks. This Lake Tahoe wedding boat is docked and sails out of Zephyr Cove Resort on south shore. Many couple’s dream of getting married on the shores of Tahoe, but who wouldn't love to tie the knot out on the lake. That’s what will happen if you plan your wedding on the Tahoe Paradise. Most weddings will sail out across the lake and make their way toward Emerald Bay. Once the yacht reaches the bay they ask for your guest to take their seats so that the wedding can start. The boat usually pulls up near Fannette Island and that’s when your ceremony will begin. This is such a lovely way to have your ceremony out over the crystal clear waters in Emerald Bay. Once your ceremony is over you and your guest will be able to enjoy cocktail hour out on the lake. I’m sure you’ll also want to have your family photos and bride and groom portraits taken before going in for your reception events. You’re lunch or dinner services will take place on the main floor of the Tahoe Paradise. After you’re done eating and all your speeches are over you’ll be able to head up to the second deck for your dancing. All the dancing and fun will take place upstairs where the dance floor is located right next to the outdoor deck for guest to enjoy those epic views of Tahoe and the surrounding area. After awhile the boat will slowly make it’s way back across the lake to dock for the day. While this is happening you’ll still be able to dance and party it up. I still recommend taking more wedding photographs around the boat since you still have those pleasing views of the surrounding lake and mountain tops. The other plus about this floating wedding venue is that it’s able to host events year around unlike many other Tahoe wedding venues. If you’ve dreamed about host your wedding on the shores of Lake Tahoe than you should really thing about hosting your wedding on a boat in the middle of Tahoe.
