Sugar Bowl Resort Lake Mary wedding photos of a newly married couple cuddling in the forested area next to the shoreline of this high alpine lake a top Donner Pass and Truckee California. The great thing about having access to a forested area is the shade. There was a heat wave going on during this couples big day and boy did having all this shade really help out during the heat of the day. Later on once it cooled off we were able to enjoy the wide open spaces with out feeling the effects of the heat. That's also the great thing about getting married in the high country during the summer is that it will eventually cool off as the sun gets lower in the sky unlike other areas of Northern California.
