Cline Family Cellars is situated in the rolling hills of the Carneros Region of Sonoma, California. The wedding venue is located on the stunning grounds of one of Cline’s vineyards and their main tasting room for the winery. This area was established by the Cline Family back in the late 1980’s and is know as the J. Poppe Vineyard, which covers 350 acres. This area of Sonoma is now for its pure beauty and rolling hills that are filled with vines.
Cline does have any area for bridal parties to get ready at before the start of your ceremony if you book the Great Lawn for your day. With that you’ll have access to the vintage Rail Car that is located on the grounds. Cline does offer the opportunity to rent out a grand estate that is located on the property for staying the night in and to get ready at before your special day. If those options don’t fit into your plans or needs then there are a good amount of local hotels in the area for your getting ready to take place at before the start of your ceremony.
Cline Family Cellars offers two different locations for your wedding ceremony and repletion to take place at. The first location and the largest is the Great Lawn which can accommodate up to 500 guest. This area is one giant lush green lawn that is surround by a well manicured gardens, trees and bushes. If you’re looking for stunning outdoor garden area with ample shade and lots of character then you should visit this location. Ceremonies and receptions all take place in this open lawn area, which is great for not having to move guest all around the grounds.
The second location that Cline Family Cellars offers as a wedding venue is the Adobe Mission and Patio area. This area is located just on the other side of the tasting room building and fish pond. This area can host up to 100 guests, which is perfect for those intimate wedding days. The ceremony location here is situated under some tall trees, which gives almost everyone a shady spot to watch a couple tie the knot. This area is surrounded by lots of trees, bushes and other beautiful garden flowers. There is also a small bamboo forest located around the walking paths. An adobe mission is located here, which adds some rustic charm to the area. Just to the side of the adobe mission is a giant patio area. This is where your dinner service and reception events will take place at. All your dancing and events for the night will take place outside under the stars at this amazing vineyard.
Cline Family Cellars is a wedding photographers dream for capturing photos of couples around the massive grounds. There are so many locations to pick from to photograph couples portraits at this wine country venue. Right next to the Adobe Mission is a huge field of vineyards, which is always a must have photo if you're getting married in Sonoma or Napa Valley. The tasting room building in the center of the property is also a wonderful area for pictures of newly married couples with its charming white wrap around porch and country feel to it. Between the two wedding locations there are tons of garden areas that are beautiful and unique to capture more photos of couples at. Lastly out back behind the venue is the rolling hills that are filled with grape vines. This location is just perfect for sunset photos and gives you that classic wine country feel and look that you see in magazines and postcards. This venue gives you lots of opportunities to create photo magic for newly married couples.
