Park Winters is a wedding and event center located out in the Northern California country side near wine country in the town of Winters California. This private country estate is one of the premiere wedding venues in the area with many couples choosing to host their special day here from the surrounding cites of Sacramento, Vacaville, Fairfield and the Bay Area. Park Winters is also a bed and breakfast and and hosts brunches on Saturday and Sundays for the public to come and enjoy the amazing grounds and food that they have to offer.
Park Winters has plenty of options during the getting ready part of your wedding day. The first location is the historical Inn that has 4 spacious bedrooms located on the second floor of the house for your getting ready actives to take place in. Brides and grooms can both get ready at “The Inn” since there are four private bedrooms that can accommodate large bridal parties. There is also one other location on the grounds for getting ready to take place at and that location is the old water tower that has been turned into a getting ready suite. Some times the groom and his groomsmen will get ready a the “Tower Suite” which is three stories tall and has plenty of room for everyone to relax at before the start of the wedding ceremony.
There are many options and locations for wedding ceremonies to take place at Park Winters. The first ceremony location is the Sunken Garden area, which is surrounded by many mature trees, which gives you plenty of late afternoon shade. The backdrop will be the well manicured gardens and surrounding trees. The second option to host your nuptials is next to the massive 150 year old pecan tree on the east lawn area. This location is on the side lawn area of the inn, which will also be part of your backdrop along the other gardens in the area during your ceremony. The third location for ceremonies to occur at is the front steps of the Inn. This location is simply stunning with the coupe reciting vows on the the top step of the front staircase with the historical inn as the backdrop while your guests watch on from the front lawn area. I’ve also seen some other locations were ceremonies have take place at in different parts of the grounds near the sunken garden and east lawn. Park Winters seems pretty accommodating on where couples can host their ceremony at. If for some reason the weather doesn’t cooperate during your special day you will always have the option to host your event inside the “Event Barn”. This is one way to stay dry and warm during those bad weather days.
When your ceremony is over and you’re having bridal party and immediate family pictures taken your guest will be able to enjoy cocktail hour out on the grounds of Park Winters. One of the locations that cocktail takes place at is poolside at the massive pool and fire pit area of the property. This area is always a fun spot for your guest to enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres at before the start of dinner service and your reception. One other area for cocktail hour to take place at is in the courtyard area next to the Tower Suite outdoor bar area. This spot is located right next to the event barn, which will be a short walk for guests going to their dinner service if you end up having an indoor reception and meal service.
When the two of you are finished with all your family portraits you’ll be able to explore the grounds with your wedding photographer for your couple’s portraits before heading off to your reception for the rest of the evening. Park Winters has so many amazing locations to have your portraits taken at that it’s mind boggling on where to go first. The first and and most no brainer location is “The Inn”. This stunning Victorian looking mansion is the heart and soul of Park Winters, so its no wonder why so many couples have their portraits taken around or inside this spectacular house. There are endless amounts of locations inside and out to have your portraits taken at. Another popular location is the “Sunken Garden” and it’s circular path leading around the garden. This area is great on those hot summer days since it will be shaded during the afternoon hours. The front entrance and garden area leading up to the Inn is another popular location since it has lots of foliage and great afternoon sunlight. Plus most of your photos will have the Inn as part of your backdrop. Another fun area is the giant oversized door that leads you into the pool area of the property. Lots of unique spots and nice afternoon sunlight around the pool garden area. Then heading west on the grounds you’ll run to lots more garden areas and the original foreman’s quarters rustic cabin. Beyond this is the flower farm and country road that is just perfect during sunset. Needless to say there are a ton of options for your couples portraits to take place at around the grounds at Park Winters.
Park Winters has two different locations on the grounds where your reception events and dinner service can take place at. The first location is the courtyard area behind the inn. This outdoor courtyard can be used when the weather is nice for your dinner service and speeches under the market lights that hang over the courtyard space. The outdoor Tower Bar is conveniently located right next to the courtyard for guest to be able to grab their favorite cocktail or drink of choice. When your reception formalities are finished for the evening the dancing part of your wedding day will take place inside the event barn. With that said the Event Barn is the second location for your dinner service, reception events and dancing to be hosted in. This modern climate controlled barn is perfect for when it’s too hot outside or too cold outside for your reception to take place outdoors. Also inside the event barn is another bar area for your guests to grab their favorite drinks during the evening inside the barn. This is one of the huge pluses when booking Park Winters for your wedding day is that you always have the options for an indoor climate controlled wedding when the weather doesn’t want to cooperate.
