Durst Winery and Estate is stunningly charming wedding and event venue located in the heart of Acampo California’s vineyards. This classic estate and wedding venue is surround by immaculately kept up grounds and has a resorted historical house dating back to the 1800’s. Unlike other winery wedding venues in the Acampo and Lodi area Durst has a more classic old time feel to it. Once you take a site visit here and see the tree lined driveway, along with the huge white estate you’ll see way this venue sets itself apart from the rest.

Durst Winery has onsite getting ready areas for wedding couples and their bridal party. This is always a huge plus in my book when couples can get ready at their wedding venue. It reliefs so much pressure on the day with less traveling and not having to worry about taking everything with you and maybe forgetting something important back at the hotel or Airbnb. It just makes the day run a lot smoother when you’re able to get ready at your wedding venue. The bridal suite is located in the main house of the estate. This area is two huge rooms that are connected by a doorway and has it’s own private outdoor courtyard and babbling water fountain. The other area for getting ready, which is geared more towards the groom is a giant room with a billiard table and tv for them to have fun while waiting to make the walk down the aisle. This area is a separate building behind the main house and super close to the ceremony site. Once everyone is ready you’ll head over to the ceremony location for the start of the nuptials.

The ceremony site is located behind the estate and right next to the tasting room. It’s situated on a giant grass lawn with a huge pine tree and bushes as the backdrop. This area is perfectly manured with other trees, bushes and a stand of cypress trees to the side. There is always a good amount of shade, which a huge plus on those hot summer days in Northern California. Unlike other dusty wedding ceremony locations in the local area this is one of a few lush and beautifully manicured garden setting ceremony sites. This ceremony site is one of the main reasons way couples choose this event center as their wedding venue. There is only a handful of venues in the area that look as beautiful and charring as this location.

After you’ve tied the knot and walked back down the aisle as a married couple your guest will be able to enjoy cocktail hour at one of the many grassy lawns around the estate grounds, while you're having your family and formal portraits taken. Once you're finished with the formal photos your Durst Winery and Estate wedding photographer will walk around this massive property with you to capture your couples portraits. There are so many locations to pick from at this venue for photos. There is the tree lined driveway, gardens, courtyards, lawns and vineyards that are perfect for pictures. The vineyards are a great option for sunset photos and are located across the street from the estate grounds. When you have access to an area like this you should take advantage of it and carve out a time slot for those sunset photos. You’ll be happy that you did when you receive your photographs back and see just how beautiful those sunset pictures are. Once your finished having your photos taken you’ll head back to your reception to enjoy some drinks and hors d’oeuvres with your friends and family members.

Wedding receptions and dinners can take place at a couple areas on the estate grounds. Most receptions are held right next to the tasting room. This area is set up perfectly for receptions, dinners and dancing. The other location is on the lawn area opposite of the ceremony site. Both reception locations are wide open areas that can be arranged in many different ways with table arrangements and dance floor locations. Know matter which area you choose to have your reception events held at you’ll be beyond happy with the outcome. These areas are perfect for everyone to enjoy your events through out the evening.

Durst Winey is a perfect location to host your wedding venue if you’re looking for a classic vineyard venue in the Lodi wine country or great Sacramento area. You don’t need to travel all the way to Napa to get married at a beautiful vineyard. The Acampo and Lodi wine region is just as beautiful and in my opinion better than Napa and Sonoma. There’s less traffic and regulations for weddings and events in the Lodi wine country area. If you’re a newly engaged couple looking to get married at a vineyard or out of the city you should put Durst Winery on your list of venues to visit. You’ll be happy that you did.
